Genet (Coach G) was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas where she played volleyball, basketball and ran track. Coach G began her coaching career in 2013, working with the Oklahoma State Strength and Conditioning staff. Upon graduating from OSU in 2015, she moved to Orange County, California where she accepted a position at a Sports Performance company. She spent two years there as a Sports Performance Coach before starting G-FIT Performance Training in 2017. She now trains athletes in one-on-one and small group settings out of her private facility in Anaheim, California. She is the head of Sports Performance for: Open Gym Premier, Pulse Athletics Volleyball Club and Canyon High School men's and women's basketball and volleyball programs. She also works with the Los Angeles Lakers as a trainer and skills coach for their Youth Foundation basketball camps. Coach G is passionate about serving SoCal youth, building relationships with each of her athletes and helping them reach their full potential in sports and in life.
